Allá donde parece que todo ha acabado
las flores encontrarán el camino para volver a nacer. Una y otra vez. Varsovia está llena de flores.
EL PROYECTO: Kwiaty significa flores en polaco.
Este proyecto habla de supervivencia, superación y memoria. Es un homenaje a una generación de varsovianos, de polacos, que han sido capaces de sobrevivir al horror, y de hacer resurgir una ciudad, Varsovia, a partir de sus cenizas.
Tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial y el posterior régimen comunista que rigió Polonia tras la contienda, los varsovianos han recuperado la posibilidad de honrar a sus seres queridos, héroes anónimos que lucharon por la libertad de su pueblo alzándose valientes frente a los totalitarismos nazi y soviético, y que fueron silenciados injustamente por la Historia. Hoy son reconocidos con monumentos, placas, y flores dejadas espontáneamente en las calles, para padres, hermanos, amigos.
Esta generación ha logrado levantar su país, dar un futuro a sus hijos y sus nietos, y al fin ha conseguido sacar sus heridas a la luz para que puedan cicatrizar.
Reflexiona sobre la necesidad de los pueblos, no ya a nivel político, sino a nivel humano, de recuperar la memoria histórica de los suyos para poder avanzar hacia el futuro sin asignaturas pendientes.

THE PROJECT:
Kwiaty means flowers in Polish.
This project deals with survival, and memory overcome. It is a tribute to a generation of Varsovians, Poles, who have been able to survive the horror, and to revive a city, Warsaw, from its ashes.
After the Second World War and the subsequent communist regime that ruled Poland afterwards, Varsovians have recovered the ability to honor their loved ones, unsung heroes who fought for the freedom of his people brave face rising Nazi and Soviet totalitarianism, and were silenced unfairly by history. Today they are recognized with monuments, plaques, and flowers left spontaneously in the streets, for parents, siblings, friends...
This generation has managed to raise its country, give a future to their children and grandchildren, and has finally managed to get their wounds to light so they can heal.
Reflects on the need of the people, not the political level, but on a human level, to recover the historical memory of their own to move into the future without pending issues.
